To book your driving theory test online, you will need:

your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number

your credit or debit card details

Check, Change or Cancel driving theory test booking

 

You can check your test appointment details online, or change or cancel your test if your circumstances change. You can use the online booking service between 6.00 am and midnight, Monday to Sunday.

Check booking

To view the status of your test booking, including when and where the test is booked, and whether the booking is confirmed, you will need to enter:

your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number

your surname

your date of birth

Change the date of your driving theory test

Change booking

 

You can move your booking to an earlier or later date, if a slot is available. You'll be able to search for a new test date or change the test centre where you are taking your test. You can only change bookings that are confirmed.
To change your theory test appointment, you will need:

• your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number
  
• to give at least three clear working days' notice before your test date to avoid losing your test fee
